However; running with your hips, knees and feet out of alignment will cause pain and premature joint failure that can lead to surgery.

While the problem may look like it's in this athlete's feet, this misalignment is actually caused by an imbalance in the hip muscles: glutes, quads, hamstrings, adductors, abductors. These imbalances will create rotation forces on the knees, which if not fixed, can cause a ligament or meniscus tear.
This is very easy to fix. Especially when the alignment work is done before your knees and hips require surgery.
Notice the red physio tape on this tennis player's right knee. She was already being treated by a therapist who decided to use a "band-aid approach". The result? A massive ankle injury during a tournament.
We can all learn from her therapists's mistake.
It is always best to work on the source of the knee pain and fix the misalignment of the hips, knees and feet. Do not tape over the problem!
Ankle injuries like this can be prevented. It's not bad knees and it's not weak ankles!

Keep checking your phone with your head and shoulders rounded forward and you will soon look and feel like you are 80.
Try to play any sport with bad posture and you will likely experience elbow and shoulder pain because when your shoulders are rolled forwards the misalignment crowds and pinches the brachial plexus nerves of the arm which creates excessive stress and inflammation in the shoulder and forearm.
Tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, boxer's elbow, pitchers elbow; these are common examples of this and they are ALL are Totally Preventable.
