Hello, my name is James J. Donatelli and I heal chronic pain and improve performance using a combination of eastern and western healing techniques.
At The Donatelli Wellness Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, I combine proven natural healing methods including: Rolfing, Rolfing Movement, Neuro-Retraining, CranioSacral Therapy, DSL Stretching, Egoscue E-cises, posture alignment, cold laser treatments and nutrition.
My "Align, Heal, Repair and Restore Program" is a series of (10) 90-min sessions that is custom tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
Most clients notice improvements within the first 1-3 sessions.

I grew playing golf, tennis, running cross country, biking and downhill skiing but at the age of 21, I broke my neck in a construction accident which left me with chronic pain and a severely limited range of motion in my neck. I later suffered a herniated disk from a boating accident and a sacral sprain from a fall. I saw chiropractors, massage therapists, doctors who prescribed medications for my pain, doctors who prescribed medications for the side effects of my medications but none of them could offer me any lasting relief.
In addition to suffering from chronic pain I had sinus congestion, IBS, brain fog, sleep apnea, chronic fatigue and depression. I was on eight medications daily, and I was told by my doctors that I would likely be taking these medications for the rest of my life. One day, while in yet another doctor’s office, I had an epiphany. I realized that the only way to heal my body was to take matters into my own hands. I was determined to find answers that would lead me on the path to real health. Instead of taking more medications to cover up symptoms, I was now going to find the root causes of my health issues.
That same day I purchased a microscope to study my blood and began to research nutrition. I took courses and devoured every book that I could on nutrition. I had taken premed classes while in college, so I found this field of study quite interesting. I studied various types of bodywork including Rolfing and CranialSacral therapy. I also studied movement retraining such as Rolf Movement, Egoscue training, dance training, yoga, and pilates. I learned the importance of meditation, living in gratitude and the power of forgiveness.
Though the combination of these powerful techniques, I was able to not only heal my body physically but emotionally as well. Along this journey to self healing, the direction of my life changed. I realized that I wanted to share what I had learned about nutrition and natural healing, and I wanted to help others to reach their full health and athletic potential.
Now, at the young age of 60, I am only on one medication, I run, swim, kayak, sail, do Muay Thai kickboxing and salsa dancing. I thoroughly enjoy everything life has to offer, pain-free and easily able to keep up with individuals 30 years younger!

If I played it safe, I would stay at home and watch TV.
but I find that staying fit and in shape allows me to travel to amazing places and go on adventure trips.
This is Death Road in Bolivia. One wrong turn and you find out why they call it death road. Amazing views, wonderful trip!
I now do daily exercises that keep my body flexible and in shape.
Truth be told, I was very worried that the intense training required of kickboxing would cause me to reinsure my old injuries.
What I learned however, is that I can take on any challenge as long as I proceed slowly and let my body adapt to the vigors of the training.
Yes training with fighters has its bumps and bruises but it's still a lot of fun and an amazing way to stay in shape.
I now help the fighters recover from long term injuries and help them warm up before fights.
I learned to heal my back and neck injuries. I went from walking with a limp and a foot slap, to performing salsa on stage!
Training with professional dancers has taught me about efficient body movement.
I now use what I learned to help my client's optimize their movement which translates into optimized movement for any sport that requires walking, running, flexibility and balance.
July/August is the best time to visit Alaska. The days are long, the fish are running and the weather is beautiful.
I discovered that the best way to stay young is to test myself and push the limits. While skydiving might not be your thing, consider doing activities that test you and keep you young at heart!
